Schmid Architects offers comprehensive design solutions, collaborating closely with Clients to develop their project from conception to realisation. Design approach

Sustainable Design

We believe that every project holds the potential to make a positive impact and contribute to a more sustainable built environment. By re-using existing building structures and incorporating renewable, locally sourced materials, we can significantly reduce carbon emissions across the lifespan of a building – from its construction to its occupancy. Through the integration of energy-efficient technologies and services, we can minimise emissions and reduce operating costs while simultaneously enhancing the living quality. Andreas Schmid

ARB registered Architect / Director

Andreas Schmid studied architecture at ETH Zürich, Switzerland and completed his Master's Degree at the chair of Prof. Adam Caruso in 2013. After working for the design-led practices Dürig AG in Zürich and OBRA Architects in New York, he established his own studio in London in 2019. Since then he has been working on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
